WCLL Minors division eligibility for 2022

The Washington County Little League Board of Directors has decided to allow parents of machine pitch baseball and softball players to request for their child to play in the Minors Player Pitch division this season. In order to be eligible, the player must meet the following criteria:

1) The player must be league age 8 and have played at least 1 season in the Machine Pitch division.

2) The player must be registered for the Machine Pitch division no later than Tuesday, January 18 (the only division that will be available during registration is the Machine Pitch division).

3) The parents must email us at [email protected] and request that their child be allowed to participate in the Minors baseball or softball division no later than Tuesday, January 18. It is recommended that you provide details about your child's playing experience (both in Little League and outside of Little League) so that the Board understands why you feel your child should be allowed to play in the older age group.

The Board will meet between January 19-21 to consider any requests that are received. Parents will then be notified prior to the drafts. The Board's decision will be final.

Please note that players will only be eligible to be selected for the All Star team in the division that they play in during the regular season. Players playing in the Minors division will NOT be eligible to be selected for the 8 year old Machine Pitch all star team.
